On Saturday, 17-year-old RJ Krishnaswamy received his master’s degree in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh. This achievement came after he earned his bachelor’s degree from Pitt last year and shared his excitement with KDKA-TV. RJ felt proud to have something tangible to show for his hard work, especially after facing the challenging aspect of his academic journey – the thesis defense.
Daniel Mosse, a professor of computer science at the University of Pittsburgh, praised RJ for choosing their institution for both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Mosse expressed pride in the work RJ has done so far and especially in the publishing opportunities that can be presented to a young graduate.
Now armed with a master’s degree, RJ is eagerly awaiting an answer from Pete regarding starting his Ph.D. This educational achievement at such a young age highlights the dedication and hard work RJ has put into his academic pursuits, setting him on a path to continued success in the field of computer science.
