The Serbian police are actively searching for Danka Ilić, a two-year-old girl who disappeared on October 26 in Banjsko Polje settlement in Bor, Serbia. The authorities are calling on anyone who has information about her whereabouts, movements or the circumstances of her disappearance to come forward.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Croatia is assisting the Serbian authorities in the search for Danka by activating her profile in the National Register of Missing Persons. On March 26, the Police of the Republic of Serbia activated the FIND ME system (Amber Alert) for the first time, in order to quickly inform the public about missing minors. Since Danka is still missing, the Serbian police are continuing their efforts to find her.

Details about Danka’s disappearance can be found on Interpol’s website. She is 85 cm tall, has brown hair and eyes, and was last seen wearing an olive green jacket, purple pants and black tennis shoes. Anyone with information that could lead to Danka being found and reunited with her loved ones should contact the Croatian police at phone numbers 01/3788-754 or 192.
