The South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) Automotive Technologies Advisory Committee not too long ago held a meeting in the Morgan Transportation Creating on the SGTC Americus campus. The committee’s key goal is to help SGTC faculty and employees in enhancing the Automotive Technologies plan. Throughout the meeting, instructors Brandon Dean and Carey Mahone offered updates on plan adjustments, enrollment, neighborhood activities and student news. Board members also share data on proposed curriculum enhancements, new coaching possibilities, employment/internship possibilities and salary levels for students. The meeting was attended by David Miller, Ron Peacock and Matt Kiely of Miller Auto Components, as nicely as instructors Starlin Sampson and Kevin Beaver and Academic Dean Dr. David Finley.
