AOC, a leading brand in computer displays, has announced the release of a new 27-inch K27G3XMN/BK monitor designed for gamers seeking high-performance HDR gaming at an affordable price. The monitor features a Fast VA panel with a KHD (2560×1440) resolution and MiniLED backlight technology, providing 336 dimming zones and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification for an unparalleled HDR experience.

The Full Range Local Dimming (FALD) solution enhances the HDR experience by allowing some parts of the screen to be completely black while others maintain a very high brightness, giving players more control over the visual gameplay experience. The monitor also boasts 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC), producing 1.07 billion colors and high color gamut coverage (+95% DCI-P3).

When it comes to performance, this monitor delivers smooth and fast gameplay with an 180Hz refresh rate and a 1ms GtG response time. It is also equipped with an ergonomic stand that provides numerous adjustment options, including height, tilt, rotation, and flicker-free technology with Lov Blue to protect your eyes during extended gaming sessions. Additionally, the Shadow Control feature allows players to adjust shadow and light levels to customize their visual gameplay experience and easily spot enemies hiding in dark corners.

The monitor supports Adaptive-Sync for a variable refresh rate that eliminates tearing and stuttering during gameplay. It also includes a Dial Point overlay for precise aiming in FPS games and OSD adjustment options that can be accessed via software or the OSD buttons on the monitor itself. The AGON by AOC has suggested retail price of €399 and will be available in November.
