Cesc Fabregas believes that Arsenal needs to strengthen their squad’s depth if they want to compete with Manchester City for the Premier League title. Despite coming close to winning it last season, the Gunners fell short this year and finished without any trophy.

Fabregas pointed out that City has an advantage of having two strong teams that can compete for the title, while Arsenal lacks that depth. He highlighted the need for more quality arrivals to ease the pressure on existing players such as Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Thomas Partey and William Saliba.

Although Arsenal made several signings last summer to bolster their squad, Fabregas believes they still need to add more depth in their attacking options. He praised Kai Havertz’s performance but stated that he is not a natural striker. Fabregas believes that Arsenal needs to sign a top striker who can guarantee goals all season long to improve their chances of winning the title.
