Bethesda recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls video game saga, taking the opportunity to confirm progress on the new installment, The Elder Scrolls 6. To mark this special occasion, the company shared a letter detailing the history of the series and providing some news about the upcoming title.

While The Elder Scrolls 6 is still in its early stages of development, Bethesda expressed their excitement about returning to Tamriel and playing the first versions of the game. They did not reveal any specific information about the story or plans for launch. The saga, which began with Arena in 1994, has evolved over time with games such as Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim, including the last one which won best game at The Game Awards 2011.

In addition to the main series, Bethesda has released other titles such as The Elder Scrolls Online and The Elder Scrolls: Blades for mobile devices. They are also working on projects such as The Elder Scrolls: Castles for smartphones. Bethesda expressed its gratitude for player support over the past 30 years and looks forward to continuing to develop engaging and innovative gaming experiences in future decades.

Bethesda also announced other updates in mobile gaming world including new releases of various projects that are expected to keep players engaged with more exciting gaming experiences.
