A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when a man was discovered dead between the wall of a Newark business and a shipping container, police officials stated. Newark police and firefighters arrived at the scene in the 200 block of Frelinghuysen Avenue at approximately 3:55 p.m. Despite their efforts, they were unable to revive the man, and he was declared dead at the scene about an hour later, as per a statement from Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frague.
Frague emphasized that this was indeed a terrible tragedy and urged caution while driving in the area until further investigation is conducted.
