Authorities in the town of Coleraine are conducting a death investigation after a man was found dead outside a business fire early Sunday. Emergency crews were called to an industrial park on Ripple Road at around 1am where a business had been set on fire. According to Colerain Police spokesman Jim Love, the man was found dead in a chair outside the warehouse. Love suspects the fire and death are related, but the cause of death and the presence of foul play will ultimately be determined by the coroner. The man’s identity has not yet been released as authorities await notification of his family. Additionally, the Colerain Fire Department is actively investigating the cause of the fire.
