In a bid to engage in thought-provoking discussions about science culture, we are proud to announce the launch of our new series “Taboos and Tricky Topics” on February 14th. We invite you to join us as representatives from the chemical community will be participating in this exciting event.
This series is an extension of our Vision for a Great Science Culture that was launched last year, which outlined the values, behaviors, and expectations of a thriving science community. However, creating such a culture requires collective efforts and may present challenges.
The goal of this series is to address contentious issues within scientific culture, including the delicate balance between pursuing a successful research career and contributing to scientific culture. We aim to create a platform where individuals at different career stages and backgrounds can share their unique perspectives. Furthermore, we welcome your feedback via our Q&A board, where you can post your thoughts anonymously.
To participate in this stimulating conversation, tune in to our YouTube channel or LinkedIn page at 4 pm UK time on February 14th. You can also submit your questions and comments at any time before the event. For more information, visit our website today!
