Breakthrough Golf Technology (BGT) has been at the forefront of creating premium multi-material golf equipment with its line of wedge shafts. While wedge shafts may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of high-end golf equipment, BGT is pushing the boundaries of shaft technology with its innovative design.

Two years ago, BGT released the original ZNE splines, which featured a carbon top and steel tip. This unique construction is designed to provide stability, consistency and add spin to shots. But BGT didn’t stop there; they have continued to improve ZNE windows and have now introduced the latest version, RedZNE. The most significant change to the RedZNE shafts is the use of a carbon fiber tip instead of steel, resulting in a lower launch and flatter trajectory for improved distance control.

The RedZNE carbon fiber top tube is 54 percent stiffer than the previous ZNE shaft, giving golfers better feel and control. BGT claims that RedZNE shafts offer 50 percent better accuracy due to the additional spin produced by the shaft. In addition, the connector that joins the tip and uppers is designed to improve weight distribution and improve the overall feel of the shaft.

Breakthrough Golf Technology will offer RedZNE shafts in 90, 115 and 130 gram options, making them compatible with the most popular iron shafts on
