Brittany Mahomes’ Sports Illustrated swimsuit debut is one for the books. On Thursday, just a few days before the 2024 Super Bowl where her husband Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the San Francisco 49ers, Brittany was named the latest rookie in Sports Illustrated’s 60th anniversary issue.
The Texas native, 28, has been living in Kansas City since she married Patrick and took over as co-owner of the Kansas City Current women’s soccer team. In an Instagram video shoot with Derek Ketella that showcased her swimwear, Brittany proudly models loads of Chiefs red swimwear, including a sexy halter-neck Mugler number that highlights her toned figure thanks to its massive neckline that dips below her navel.
Brittany captured a smoldering look for the cameras in this photo, with textured beachy waves blowing in the wind. Her overall appearance served as a bit of Baywatch bombshell realism. In her cover story, Brittany opened up about how she never thought this opportunity would come her way but is grateful for it all the same. She shared that she wants women to be empowered to always be themselves and feel confident in what they do, and she thinks Sports Illustrated embodies that message too.
Of course, no one can extinguish Brittany’s light, not even internet trolls who have tried to bring her down in front of her 1.8 million Instagram followers. But Brittany isn’t afraid of them and encourages others not to let their opinions define them either. She wrote on Instagram Story: “I’m here to tell you that people are going to hate you, people are going to love you,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Don’t let any of that define you,” she continued. “KEEP GOING and be YOU.” Most importantly, Brittany got Patrick’s approval through a heart emoji which means everything to her!
