UMD Bulldogs “ALLETE” Moments: Competitors
This year, UMD Athletics is partnering with Minnesota Energy, ALLETE to highlight the Bulldogs’ accomplishments in the three C’s: Classroom, Competitors, Neighborhood.
The NSIC table in all sports is calculated following the academic year 2022-23. year and the Bulldogs completed in third location all round. The UMD men’s teams completed sixth, when the UMD women’s teams completed fourth. This is the Bulldogs’ highest mark because winning 5 consecutive awards from 1999-2004.
Augustana received Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) All-Sports honors as spring sports concluded in early Might. The Vikings win the award for the seventh time because joining the league in 2008. The Vikings scored 211. points and completed 1.67 points ahead of second-location Minnesota State, followed by Minnesota Duluth. Augustana, Minnesota Duluth, Minnesota State and Winona State stay the only institutions to obtain the award in its 20+ year history.
The NSIC all-sport award is calculated by adding the total quantity of teams in that sport plus one particular to the winner of every conference-sponsored championship.
