In Johnson City, the Science Mill is excited to offer limited admission to view the April 8 total solar eclipse. The museum is situated near the path of totality, where the moon will completely block the sun for approximately 4 minutes starting at 1:35 pm that Monday.

Each ticket provides regular museum admission for four people, four solar eclipse viewing glasses, and a parking spot in the west parking lot off US 290. However, parking is subject to weather and cannot be guaranteed except in the west parking lot.

The Scientific Mill is located at 101 S. Lady Bird Lane. Due to the expected popularity of this event, tickets are strictly limited, and no entry is allowed on April 8th. To learn more about this unique opportunity or to purchase tickets, visit or call 844-263-6405 or email
