The holiday season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate it than with the 4th Annual Hometown Christmas Event in Brazil, Indiana? Hosted by Brazil Main Street and the Clay County Chamber of Commerce, this event is sure to be a festive affair.

Taking place on Saturday from 10am to 5.30pm, the event is part of Small Business Saturday, which encourages shoppers to support local businesses during the holiday season. And what better way to do that than by participating in this fun-filled event?

Local Clay County businesses and vendors will be participating in the event, offering special activities and promotions for attendees. One of the highlights of this event is a scavenger hunt that will take participants to various jobs in the area. The winners of the scavenger hunt will be announced during a community Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 pm at Brazil City Hall.

With over 30 participating locations and dozens of artisan vendors, there will be plenty of opportunities for attendees to shop and explore. Participants can pick up a paper passport at any of the participating locations and then visit each business to pick up a Christmas stamp. Once they have stamps from at least 20 locations, they will be eligible for prizes.

To make planning your day easier, Thrive West Central has created a Christmas Hometown layer in its Crossroads Trails app. This provides a handy map and guide for finding all participating locations on your phone. Simply search for “West Central Indiana Trail Map” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to access the app.
