After being released by the Jets on March 14, Corey Davis has expressed his interest in returning to the NFL. According to coach Robert Saleh, the Jets are in regular communication with Davis and have left the door open for him to rejoin Gang Green. Reporter Connor Hughes also hinted at the team’s interest in bringing back the wide receiver.

If Davis decides to return to the Jets, he would provide a significant boost to their already impressive wide receiver group, which includes Garrett Wilson and recently signed Mike Williams. Last August, Davis took a break from football but was reinstated earlier this month, allowing him to return to the NFL. Prior to signing with the Jets in 2021, Davis spent four years with the Tennessee Titans.

During his time with the Jets, Davis proved himself as a valuable asset to their offense, recording 66 receptions for 1,028 yards and six touchdowns in his first two seasons with the team. If he decides to re-sign with Gang Green, it could potentially create a dynamic wide receiver corps that opposing teams will have to contend with.
