Bernie Clark, a dedicated volunteer at the Ecumenical Food Pantry in Lake Placid, was seen working tirelessly on Monday morning to pack Thanksgiving bags as part of an assembly line. Along with other volunteers, Bernie spent more than an hour packing food for distribution during the day.

Linda Young, the organizer of the event, estimated that they would distribute around 275 bags of food. The community’s support and commitment to helping those less fortunate were evident in the team’s efforts. Volunteers worked hard to ensure that those in need had access to a Thanksgiving meal.

The Lake Placid Ecumenical Food Pantry has been committed to providing food security to the community for many years. Thanks to volunteers like Bernie Clark and Linda Young, this mission has continued successfully. Their dedication and generosity have made a significant difference in the lives of many families in the area during the holiday season and beyond.
