Phil Taylor, also known as “The Power”, has announced that the 2024 World Senior Darts Tour will be his final year on the circuit. The 63-year-old earned the nickname “The Power” and is a 16-time world champion. He expressed his love for performances and the journey he has traveled over the past 35 years.
Taylor stated that the time was right for him to step away from the tour and that he will continue to work hard to give the fans what they want and to be on top. The World Senior Darts Tour consists of 11 events, including the World Senior Darts Championship at the Circus Tavern in February, with Taylor aiming to peak in 2024.
Billy Lovell of the World Senior Darts Tour hailed Taylor as one of Great Britain’s greatest sportsmen and expressed gratitude for his decision to come out of retirement at the start of the project. Lovell also noted the fun
