During the presentation, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, will make remarks. In addition, leaders from various UN agencies, development organizations and government partners will be present to mark the beginning of this new chapter in the digital health transformation.
The Global Digital Health Initiative is a network managed by the World Health Organization to coordinate resources to support country-led digital health transformation. This initiative will play a key role in the implementation of the Global Digital Health Strategy 2020-2025. Its objectives include, but are not limited to, assessing and prioritizing country needs, aligning resources and building capacity for local development and adaptation of digital health technologies.
Membership in the Global Digital Health Initiative is open to all institutions involved in digital health, demonstrating a commitment to collaborative efforts in achieving its goals.
