The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) of the National Institutes of Health has awarded DLH Holdings a contract to continue providing information technology services. NIDA is the leading federal agency that supports scientific research on drug use and addiction. This new award expands the partnership that began with DLH’s first contract with NIDA in 2014.
DLH will provide a range of information technology services to NIDA, including managing the operations of an integrated advanced clinical/research informatics suite of systems that allow researchers to share data and resources in real time. In addition, the company will be responsible for the research, design, development and maintenance of clinical and scientific informatics, intranet applications and public websites, as well as IT infrastructure and desktop support.
This work was fully funded by the NIH. The contract includes a base period of one year with four one-year options, totaling approximately $23 million.
