At Gamescom 2019 in Cologne, Germany, fans had the chance to try out the latest version of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. The excitement surrounding the game was palpable as visitors got to experience the popular anime series come to life in a new way. Meanwhile, plans are underway in Saudi Arabia to build the first Dragon Ball Z theme park as part of the royal Kidia project. This massive entertainment venue will span 5.3 million square meters and feature seven different areas inspired by the original anime series. With more than 30 themed rides, hotels and restaurants, the theme park will be a major tourist attraction in the region.

Kidiya itself is a planned “city” located in Riyadh, spanning over 360 square kilometers and offering over 400 attractions including golf courses, theme parks and hotels. The project is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to diversify the economy and attract more tourists to the kingdom. With ambitious goals for tourism growth, Saudi Arabia is making strides to become a global destination for visitors from around the world.
