The Falcons made a move on Tuesday by removing defensive tackle Eddie Goldman from the reserve/left tackle list. It appears that a new transaction involving Goldman and the team is about to happen, as Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported that Goldman is expected to sign a new contract with the team.

Goldman first signed with the Falcons in July 2022, but opted out soon after. He then returned to the active roster in March before leaving the team again in July without ever playing a game for the Falcons. His final time was in 14 games with the Bears during the 2021 season, as he sat out 2020 due to concerns about COVID-19.

During his time with the Bears in 2021, Goldman recorded 22 tackles and half a sack. During his career, he collected 175 tackles, 13 sacks and two fumble recoveries. It will be interesting to see how he does with the Falcons once he signs a new contract with the team.
