The Local Organizing Committee of the XVII VBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Finals has released a promotional video for the event, which was premiered at the VBSC Europe Congress in Benalmadena, Malaga, Spain on Saturday. The video features stunning images from the Friuli Venezia Giulia region and includes a welcome message from Massimiliano Fedriga, the president of the region.
The Stadio Comunale in Kastions di Strada will host the Women’s Softball World Cup finals from July 15-21. Four games are scheduled to be played each day during this time period. Tickets for the event are available for purchase.
Fedriga expressed his excitement about hosting such an important event and hopes that it will not only crown champions on the field but also strengthen the bonds that unite people across borders and cultures. After the 2023 group stage, the eight teams that made it to the finals are divided into two groups: Group A, which includes teams such as the USA, Canada, Italy and China, and Group B, which includes Japan, Puerto Rico. , Australia and Spain as group stage hosts last year. This marks a significant event for Italy as it is their first time hosting such an event and also marks another time in history that European countries have hosted this prestigious tournament with Netherlands previously hosting it in 2014.
