Police are currently investigating a late-night stabbing at a coin-operated laundry in Plantation. The incident happened at the 24-hour coin laundry along the 500 block of US-441 around 10 p.m. Monday. Unfortunately, the victim died on the spot that same night, the Plantation Police Department announced. The victim's identity has not been released.
The effects of the stabbing were still visible the next morning, and the blood was cleaned from the floor of the laundry room. The witness, who was getting dinner across the street at the time, mentioned seeing the flashing lights of police cars arriving at the scene. Details surrounding the incident, including what led to the stabbing, how many individuals were involved and whether any arrests have been made, are unclear at this time.
As the investigation continues, this is considered a developing story. Stay up to date by checking back with NBC6 for any new information that comes out.
