In 2024, the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain will induct Rob Katz into the Colorado Enterprise Hall of Fame. Katz is a former CEO of Vail Resorts who led the company to significant growth and success. Under his leadership, he developed the season pass program that led to the launch of the industry-changing Epic Pass in 2008.

Katz also created the Katz Amsterdam Foundation with a focus on non-profit organizations in mountain communities dealing with mental and behavioral challenges, which has returned over $22 million to the community. Despite stepping down as CEO in 2021, Katz remains on the board as executive chairman and continues to be fully involved in the company’s strategic operations.

Other honorees inducted into the Colorado Enterprise Hall of Fame this year include Rose Andom, Pat Hamill, John A. Ikard, Steve Shook, and Elizabeth Hickok Robbins Stone. The induction ceremony will be held at the annual Colorado Business Hall of Fame Dinner on February 15 at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center, hosted by Brian Sanders of Denver7.
