Walter Russell Mead is a distinguished fellow for method and statesmanship at the Hudson Institute. He is a International View columnist for The Wall Street Journal and is also the James Clarke Chace Professor of Foreign Affairs and Humanities at Bard College in New York. In addition, he is a member of the Aspen Institute in Italy and serves as a board member of Aspenia. Prior to his time at Hudson, Mead was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, exactly where he held the position of Senior Fellow to Henry A. Kissinger for US foreign policy.

Mead is an achieved author, possessing written many books, such as the acclaimed Unique Providence: American Foreign Policy and How It Changed the Globe (Alfred A. Knopf, 2004). He is presently operating on his upcoming book entitled The Arc of A Covenant: The United States, Israel, and the Future of the Jewish Persons.
