Robin Manke is a lifelong resident of Menomonee Falls, and her family has been a part of the community for over a century. She is the owner of Robin’s Nest, a store full of current fashion, with a focus on clothing made in the USA. Her store has been open since 1982 and is located next door to her father’s store, Dan’s Tog Shop, one of the oldest neighborhood businesses in Menomonee Falls.
With a family history dating back to the 1890s, it’s clear why Manke is committed to Menomonee Falls. She made significant contributions to her community, including working with the Menomonee Falls Food Pantry and teaching Sunday School for 50 years. Manke is a humble person, but her friends and community recognize her dedication and commitment.
Businesses in Menomonee Falls have seen significant growth over the past few years. The village has become a destination, with art galleries, gift shops, improved parks and new restaurants and bars. Manke remains committed to keeping downtown vibrant and alive and plans to continue her work there.
Despite her long involvement in the community, Manke has no immediate plans to retire and is eager to discuss the upcoming festivals and events coming to downtown Menomonee Falls. If you want to tell Natalie about an everyday hero, send her a message at [email protected].
