Hong Kong has overtaken Singapore as the freest economy in the planet, according to the most current report from the Fraser Institute in Montreal. The report titled “Financial Freedom of the Planet” has ranked Hong Kong at the top rated for much more than 20 years. Even so, the 2023 edition of the report reveals a drop in Hong Kong’s general score by .07 points. The decline is mainly attributed to a decline in judicial independence, impartial courts and legal integrity, along with an improve in military interference.
