U.S. Senator Jim Risch, senior member and former chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, announced the selection of Arnzen Building Construction in Cottonwood as the Idaho Small Business of the Month for February 2024. The company will be recognized for its contributions to the north central Idaho community in Congressional Record of the US Senate.

In his announcement, Senator Risch highlighted how Morris Arnzen’s purchase of Arnzen Building Construction in 1987 played a key role in changing the face of north-central Idaho. The company has demonstrated a commitment to high quality construction and workmanship by contributing to a variety of residential, commercial, educational, medical and public works in the area. In addition, Arnzen’s support of local fire departments, youth groups and 4-H chapters underscores their commitment to not only building strong buildings, but also building a strong community.

Idaho is consistently ranked as one of the best places in the country to do business. Each month, Senator Risch selects an Idaho small business that exemplifies the state’s values of hard work, entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional commitment to community.
