In response to more than a dozen rockets fired at northern Israel, the Israeli military launched airstrikes on a military structure belonging to the Shiite militia party Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. While there is no information about victims in the attacks yet, an air alert was activated in the area to protect civilians.

The Israeli army confirmed that 15 missiles hit open areas near the military checkpoint in Menara, but no casualties were reported. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the rocket attacks, saying the target was a group of enemy soldiers. Lebanon’s Hezbollah-affiliated Al Manar television network reported direct rocket hits.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced the death of one of its members, Muhammad Ibrahim al-Zein, in recent clashes with Israel. These incidents occurred in the context of ongoing clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon following attacks by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Israeli territory, resulting in numerous casualties and kidnappings. The situation remains tense as both sides continue to engage in the conflict.
