The weekend in Illinois has been filled with excitement, and it all comes to a head tonight at 7 p.m. when the Fighting Illini take on Southern in the second of three games in what is essentially a non-MTE, MTE series. The goal for tonight’s game against the Jaguars is to start better than Friday’s performance, which saw Illinois trailing by 10 points in the first half.
Illinois has struggled against mid-major opponents this season, and tonight will be no exception.
