Seed World Canada is currently seeking innovative plant breeding programs that are making significant progress in the Canadian seed sector. The Public Sector Plant Science Exhibition will feature cutting-edge thinking, technological advances, and creative efforts that drive the industry forward. If you have a research program that contributes to the improvement of the seed sector, you could be recognized in our July issue by submitting your research in 200 words.

Any qualifying entry will be recognized by Seed World Canada, as we aim to celebrate the diverse work being done in plant science and breeding across Canada. However, only the top three winners will be selected based on criteria that assess research novelty, sustainability impact, and scientific innovation.

The novelty criterion looks for groundbreaking work that introduces new concepts or technologies to the market. Sustainability Impact evaluates how research positively impacts the environment and supports sustainable farming practices while reducing the carbon footprint of the agricultural industry. Scientific Innovation focuses on cutting-edge research and development that significantly impacts the agricultural industry by creating new plant traits or improving crop yields.

The top three winners will be selected by Seed World Canada’s editorial staff, providing a platform to showcase leading advancements in the Canadian seed sector. Submit your innovative research today!
