The Jacksonville Jaguars started the game with a bang, scoring the first touchdown against the Tennessee Titans on their second possession of the day. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence connected with wide receiver Calvin Ridley for a three-yard touchdown pass, taking the Jaguars’ lead to 7-0. Despite a deflected Brandon McManus extra point attempt, the Jaguars maintained their advantage.
The game began with both teams trading punts, but the Titans gained momentum when wide receiver Chris Moore ran 38 yards, putting the ball in Jaguars territory. However, the Titans’ drive was halted when quarterback Will Lewis mishandled the snap, resulting in a fumble that was recovered by Jaguars’ Foye Oluokon. Oluokon’s impact was felt early in the game as he also recorded a sack earlier in the game.
With an early lead and strong defensive play by Oluokon, the Jaguars held a commanding 7-0 advantage over the Titans as they entered halftime.
