Dolphins wide receiver Jalen Weddle entered concussion protocol earlier this week. This was announced by head coach Mike McDaniel in a press conference on Monday. Weddle suffered a concussion during Sunday night’s game against the Patriots when he was hit by linebacker Marte Mapu while trying to catch a pass from Tua Tagovailoa. The goal resulted in a penalty for Mapa and Weddle could not return to the game. Before his departure, Waddle had four catches for 86 yards, making him the team’s leading receiver on the night. In the first two weeks of the regular season, he accumulated eight total catches for 164 yards.
