In the latest monthly chart of Japan, Momotaro Dentetsu World: The Earth Spins with Hope has emerged victorious once again. According to Famitsu, the Konami title sold 153,137 units in January, surpassing Super Mario Bros. Wonder and securing the top spot in the charts. Meanwhile, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth debuted on PS5 and took 3rd place with 102,940 units sold.

The Switch was the best-selling hardware across all three versions with 241,282 units sold, while the OLED model was the top seller. The PS5 followed in second place with 185,480 units sold, and the Xbox was in 3rd place with just 7,654 units sold.

In terms of physical game sales during this period, Nintendo had a market share of 34.1%, Sega had a share of 12.3%, and Konami had a share of 10.2%. The ten best-selling physical games from January 1 to January 28th are as follows:
