Are you a journalist interested in participating in a 15-minute research study on science-based communication? We are currently seeking participants to understand how journalists evaluate and report on social science research. Your input is crucial in developing best practices for communicating scientific information.

There are two reimbursement options available: either no fee or a $20 gift card. If you choose the latter, you will receive an email from the University of Alabama with instructions on how to redeem the card, usually within 3 weeks of joining.

We kindly request that you share this email with any industry contacts who may also be journalists or journalism students who may be interested in participating in the study.

Completing the survey should take about 15 minutes, and your individual responses will remain anonymous and your privacy will be respected. The results of the study will be used to inform further research on best practices for communicating scientific information and will be presented in scientific publications and presentations.

The project is being conducted by the Social Psychology Laboratory of Dr. Alexa Tullett at the University of Alabama, with support from the National Science Foundation. Your participation is greatly appreciated, and we thank you for your time and insights.
