John Wood Community College’s Ag Science Complex has received a $60,000 donation from Farm Credit Illinois to purchase new bleachers for their exhibition space. This accessory will greatly assist in setting up livestock shows and reduce the amount of stress associated with the process. The grandstands will be able to accommodate up to 320 people, providing enough space for the participants.

Farm Credit Illinois President and CEO Aaron Johnson explained that their donation is a way to help farm families succeed, and they are proud to contribute to the completion of the facility. This donation is in line with their goal of supporting farm families in southern Illinois counties.

JVCC President Brian Renfro expressed his appreciation for the community’s support, noting the care and concern shown by people in the area. This funding will have a significant impact on the Ag Science Complex and its ability to host successful livestock shows and events.
