Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is expected to break numerous records during his playing career. On Sunday night, he set a new Super Bowl record with four career fumble recoveries, surpassing the previous high of three set by two different players.

In addition to this achievement, Mahomes also tied the all-time record with five Super Bowl attempts. Given his talent and skill, it’s likely that he will continue to break records in the regular season, postseason and potentially even at the Super Bowl level in the future.

As Mahomes approaches his thirtieth birthday, it’s clear that he still has a lot of potential left in him. With his ability to predict plays before they even begin, he could become one of the most advanced quarterbacks in NFL history.

For those who are not fans of Mahomes or the Chiefs, there is little doubt that they will continue to see greatness from him as long as he continues to play professional football. With potentially a decade or more left in his career, it’s not out of the question that Mahomes could one day surpass Tom Brady’s record of seven Super Bowl wins. The real question may be whether Mahomes will even reach double figures in the Super Bowl before retiring from football.
