The Women’s Sports Network is set to make history in this week’s Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off, with two women’s college basketball games to be televised live on the network.
On Thursday, November 23rd, No. 15/20 Tennessee and No. 18/17 Indiana will meet at Suncoast Credit Union Arena at 6:00 PM ET, with FOX providing national coverage of the game. This will be the first women’s college basketball game to be televised live on the Women’s Sports Network.
On Saturday, November 25th, No. 15/20 UT and No. 25/21 Oklahoma will face off at Suncoast Credit Union Arena at 1:30 PM ET. The Women’s Sports Network will provide its inaugural telecast of a women’s college game during this event.
The Women’s Sports Network is an ad-free streaming television network that has been around for a year now and is dedicated exclusively to female athletes. It boasts partnerships with all major national women’s sports leagues in the United States, including the National Women’s Soccer League (NVSL), Professional Golf Association (LPGA), USA Ski and Snowboard, World Surf League (WSL), VNBA, Athletes Unlimited and many others. Its partnership with the Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off is its first agreement with any early-season basketball event.
