Last night, a powerful thunderstorm passed through the Zagreb area, and showers with thunder are expected to continue on Tuesday, especially along the sea. In some places, it will rain more heavily, especially in the first part of the day in the central part of the country and in the east, where the northeast wind will blow. At the end of the day, there can be sleet and snow on the highest mountains.
On Wednesday, it is expected to be cloudy and windy on the mainland, with less rain primarily in Dalmatia. Snow and sleet are expected in the highest areas of Lika and Zagora, while showers with thunder are possible in the south. In addition to that, moderate to strong storms with storm surges are expected on the Adriatic, especially at Velebit’s foot with hurricane-like winds. Temperatures are expected to range mostly between 4 and 9 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
