KSFS Global LLC, a disabled veteran-owned business that specializes in fabric shelters, has recently opened its doors in Rockbridge County. The company purchased the assets of Creative Tent International and moved its production infrastructure from Las Vegas to Natural Bridge Station.

Jacob Furbee, president and CEO of KSFS Global LLC, announced the hiring of five new employees, with more to come. The company manufactures tents designed for military and commercial applications, in various sizes that can accommodate an aircraft or a command post. Shelters are equipped with HVAC systems, insulation, flooring and lighting, and installation services are available as needed.

Furby, a Marine veteran, brings his military experience to his role, and Paul Wilcock, also a Marine veteran, serves as vice president. KSFS is currently working to fulfill orders for a Texas customer and a defense subcontractor. A ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the company is planned for December 6th following the formation of KSFS in September and the purchase of the property in October.
