In Week five of the 2023 season, quite a few Memphis-location higher college athletes turned in outstanding performances in fall sports. In volleyball, Covington’s Kendall Narcisse had an impressive 15 kills and 18 digs in a challenging-fought win against White State. In boys golf, Houston’s Zach Olsen was medalist with a 35 as his group emerged victorious with a score of 154 against Arlington’s 166 at Pine Hill. In girls golf, Mathile Walker and Claire Todd shared co-medalist honors, each and every shooting a 37 to enable their ECS group safe a 5-shot victory more than St. Benedict on Timber Truss.
