Marenghi, the current vice president of Confindustria’s delegation for organization, development and marketing, has presented his candidacy for the presidency of the organization. He was born in Mantua in 1976 and is a general manager at his family company, Mantua Papirnica. In addition to his role at Mantua Papirnica, he is also the founder and CEO of Cartier Gallier, an Italian-based company that specializes in luxury jewelry.
Marenghi has been actively involved in various business organizations and associations throughout his career. In 2013, he founded Sumus Italia, a nonprofit organization aimed at promoting sustainable development and social responsibility in Italy. He continues to serve as the vice president of Sumus Italia based in Milan.
As a candidate for president of Confindustria, Marenghi stated that he aims to focus on issues related to innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. He believes that these areas will be critical for Italy’s economic growth and competitiveness in today’s global marketplace.
