The weekend of March 6th-8th at Martinsville Speedway is set to be a thrilling one, with all three national NASCAR series in action. The festivities kick off on Friday with the truck teams racing, followed by the Xfinity teams continuing their short track schedule on Saturday afternoon and the Cup teams bringing things to a close with a race on Sunday afternoon. Last season’s winners at Martinsville Speedway included Corey Heim in the Truck race, John Hunter Nemechek in the spring Xfinity race and Kyle Larson in the spring Cup race.

The weather forecast for the weekend at Martinsville looks promising, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 47 degrees on Friday for the Truck race, mostly sunny skies and a high of 58 degrees on Saturday for the Xfinity race, and sunny skies with a high of 62 degrees on Sunday for the Cup race. The Richmond Cup race featured a mix of wet weather tires and racing slicks, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

On Friday, activities will begin with garage opening at 10am for the Craftsman Truck Series followed by on-track activity from 3:05pm to 7:30pm including practice, qualifying and the Truck Series race. On Saturday, garage opening will take place at 10:30am for the Cup Series and on-track activities such as Cup practice, qualifying and an Xfinity race will occur. On Sunday, fans can expect an open garage and activity on track starting at 3pm for the Cup race.
