Mark Ruffalo, the actor who portrayed Bruce Banner/Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for years, has announced that he will reprise his role in the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World. During a recent interview with the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Ruffalo shared little about his part in the film but said it would be “great.”

Despite limited information on Captain America: Brave New World, it’s known that Anthony Mackie will return to play Sam Wilson (Captain America), and Harrison Ford is taking over as Thaddeus Ross after William Hurt’s death in 2022. Thaddeus Ross has a history with Bruce Banner, which led to speculation that Red Hulk might make an appearance in the film.

Ruffalo took a break from MCU appearances for some time, with his last significant role coming in Avengers: Endgame in 2019. However, he has remained involved with Marvel through various projects like She-Hulk and What If…? Additionally, he appeared in non-superhero films. Captain America: Brave New World is set for release on February 14th, 2025, and fans eagerly anticipate more Marvel news – including the release of the first trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine.
