Since 2015, Mister Perfect Mike Schloesser has held the top spot in the Sunlide World Shooting Rankings for a total of 1,758 days. This surpasses Sarah Lopez’s record for non-consecutive time at the top of the rankings, making Schloesser a dominant force in men’s compound shooting.

Schloesser’s success in archery can be attributed to his consistency and dedication to the sport. He first claimed the top spot in 2015, shortly after winning the World Archery Championship at age 19. His latest stint at the top began in mid-2021 and has seen him achieve numerous victories in world events such as World Championship podiums and wins in the Hyundai Archery World Cup Finals.

Schloesser expressed his gratitude for being able to play his sport for so long, stating that time flies when you’re having fun. He also attributed his success to shooting one arrow at a time, multiple times a day, building up to this significant milestone. Schloesser is proud of his achievement and hopes to continue adding more days to his reign at the top.
