MUSC Global Health Week is seeking abstracts for poster sessions in all areas of global health. To be considered, abstracts must be written in narrative form and not contain tables, charts or graphs. The maximum length is 300 words, not including the title. Submitting authors are expected to attend the event and present their poster, and must obtain prior approval from all co-authors before submitting an abstract.
To be accepted, abstracts should be well organized, concise and well written. They should clearly state the problem being solved and the approach taken to address it. While providing preliminary results is suggested but not required, they will be necessary for the final poster presentation. Authors must also make a clear connection between their work and its impact on global health outcomes.
The committee will review submissions based on originality, presentation, relevance, quality and clarity. Accepted abstracts will be announced by March 29th with detailed instructions on how to prepare posters sent with the acceptance notification.
