In Week 5 of Big Ten football, fans can expect more exciting matchups as conference play continues. The two games will be broadcast on NBC Sports and Peacock. First, Illinois will face Purdue in West Lafayette, Indiana on Saturday at 3:30pm EST at the Peacock. After that, Michigan State will take on Iowa at incredible Kinnick Stadium at 7:30pm EST.

The last time the Hawkeyes and Spartans played each other was in 2020, with Iowa dominating Michigan State 49-7. The win gave the Hawkeyes their largest margin of victory against the Spartans and strengthened their all-time lead in the series to 24-22-2.

Purdue has also had success against Illinois in recent years, winning three straight games, including a 31-24 victory last year. This win played a key role in Purdue reaching the Big Ten championship game. Illinois will aim to reclaim The Purdue Cannon and improve its overall record in the series, currently trailing at 47-45-6.

NBC Sports has announced several more upcoming Big Ten Football games for broadcast. The schedule includes East Carolina at Michigan, West Virginia at Penn State, Delaware at Penn State, Charlotte at Maryland, Washington at Michigan State, Syracuse at Purdue, Maryland at Michigan State, Ohio State at Notre Dame, USC at Notre Dame , Michigan State at Ohio State and Penn State at Michigan State (Ford Field).

Further games scheduled to be broadcast on NBC Sports and Peacock will be announced during the season.
