Nelson-Jameson, a leading food processing distributor, has announced that its president, Mike Rindi, has been recognized as a Watch CEO, Class of 2023 by Family Business Magazine. The annual award celebrates exceptional leadership in family and non-family businesses that position them for future generations.

Rindi joined Nelson-Jameson in 2020 and has since led the company through the challenges of the pandemic and supply chain disruptions. He also oversaw the company’s expansion into new cities and markets while maintaining the company’s longstanding commitment to ethical operations that respect people, the community, and the environment.

The company, founded more than 75 years ago, remains a family business at heart. Rindi’s leadership has further enhanced its values and heritage by inspiring employees, showing empathy and compassion, and empowering others. His contributions have brought new energy and ideas to the company while remaining true to the values of the family business.

Adam Nelson, fourth-generation owner of Nelson-Jameson and current company president, praised Rindi’s achievements. “Mike’s leadership has been instrumental in driving our success,” he said. “His ability to inspire employees, show empathy and compassion, and empower others is truly remarkable.”

Rindi expressed his gratitude for this recognition from Family Business Magazine. “I am honored to be recognized among such esteemed leaders,” he said. “This award highlights our commitment to next-generation leadership and our alignment with Nelson-Jameson’s core values.”
