Cedric Alexander and Ashante “Tee” Adonis have formed a new tag team after their former groups, The Hurt Business and Hit Row 2.0, disbanded in 2022 and last fall. Their former teammates are now working with Street Profits as a unit, leaving Alexander and Adonis to work a dark match as a team in December and officially introduce themselves in a “digital exclusive” video after SmackDown on February 9.
In the video, the two show good chemistry and play well together, as Alexander rolls his eyes at Adonis’ fashion choices and Adonis mocks Alexander’s nerdy vibe. Despite starting their promotion online and not on television, it’s promising for their future as a team, especially during WrestleMania season when TV time is at a premium.
While their rollout starts online, the potential for a new team is exciting and brings with it hope for the future of both Alexander and Adonis in WWE. For fans like the writer, seeing Cedric Alexander wrestling on screen again is definitely a positive development. As they continue to gain attention on YouTube and social media, hopefully they will eventually earn minutes on Raw and SmackDown.
