The Ministry of Construction has extended the deadline for the next draw of the “Discount Apartment” (“Dira ba-anaha”) lottery until February 13th. This means that nearly 7,000 subsidized apartments in 16 locations across Israel will have one more week to be registered.
The current round of the lottery began on December 26th and until today, about 100,000 people have registered. A total of 72 projects with 6,816 apartments are being awarded across the country.
In Eilat, two projects with 114 apartments are being implemented, in Elad, nine projects with 931 apartments are being played, in Ashkelon, eleven projects with 546 apartments are being awarded, in Beit Dagan one project for 63 apartments is being played, in Bnei Aisha six projects with 556 apartments are being awarded, in Jerusalem one project for 46 apartments is being implemented and in Modiin three projects for 187 apartments are being awarded.
In Petah Tikva one project for 154 apartments is being played, in Safed one project for 41 apartments is being implemented, in Kiryat Gat twenty-one projects for 2,666 apartments are being played and in Kiryat Malachi one project for 59 apartments is being implemented.
